Whenever I try to generate a preview, an error message pops up telling me to make sure that the path to the preview folder is correct. I've checked the path to the preview folder, and it appears to be correct, yet I still get the error message.
The trailing backslash is there, but I'm still receiving the same errors. The link you provided isn't helpful at all. If it makes any difference, I am running Excel 2003 on a Vista machine.
I have not tested the program in Windows Vista, but others are using Vista and it seems to be working OK for them.
The default installation path is already set in the program. If you are using the default installation path of C:\Program Files\xlecom\Preview, then there should be no problem.
The screen shot below shows the default settings in the program (Product Design sheet >> Setup routine)
(Q1) Did you install the program using the default installation path?
(Q2) Does the program previews work with the demonstration data? In other words, did it work after you installed the program just using the programs as is without making any changes?
If you still are having problems, zip up the xlecom.xls file and email it to me so that I can take a look. I will test it out on my system using Windows XP Pro and Excel 2000 and 2003.

If you used the default installation, make sure the path for the Preview folder ends with a back slash as in:
C:\Program Files\xlecom\Preview\
