Credit Card Image Height Problem

I have come up with a last-minute hitch to my website.

I want to add my own Credit Card Image on the left hand side of the home page but there seems to be a height restriction of 26 pixels, which makes my square shaped image way too small.

The image I want to put there is 114 x 149 pixels.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks

no problem now

Thanks again Sam.

There must have been something wrong with the way I entered the code. Now its working perfectly.

By the way, you've got a great e-commerce solution here with this program. I've had very few problems using it and its done exactly what I wanted it to do.

Cheers

RE: Credit Card Image Height Problem

Yes, there is a way for you to use a different sized credit card image.

To use an different credit card image with custom dimensions, you will need to add some HTML code for your credit card image to the Site Setup - Left Frame Page / Area dialog box as shown in the image below.

(1) Add the new credit card image to the "C:\Program Files\XLEcom\Assets\images\website" folder (Default Installation folder).
(2) Within the Xlecom program, run the Site Setup routine and click on the "Left" button to present the dialog box shown below.
(3) Uncheck the "Credit Card Note" check box.
(4) Uncheck the "Display Credit Card Image" check box.
(5) Enter the following HTML code into the edit box area within the "Additional User Code and Advertisement Block" section.

For a Framed Site use:

We accept these credit cards<br><img src="../images/credit_card.gif" width=114 height=149 border=0 alt="">

or

We accept these credit cards<br><img src="http://xlecom.com/images/credit_card.gif" width=114 height=149 border=0 alt="">

For Non-Framed Site use:

We accept these credit cards<br><img src="http://xlecom.com/images/credit_card.gif" width=114 height=149 border=0 alt="">

Remember to:
(1) Replace the xlecom.com domain name with your domain name.
(2) Use your image file name and dimensions.

Image Height Problem

Thanks Sam,

I did what you said and it should work o.k. Only problem is that now when I am working on my support pages and I click on the HTML Preview Page option, on the left hand side, the web page comes up all scrambled with pictures and text all over the place.

Did I cause this when I added that extra code?

Thanks again.

RE: Image Height Problem

I tested the stated method with all the page previews and also in the final published site and encountered no problems.

In the problem you stated, it sounds like you may have not entered the HTML code correctly which can cause the encountered problem. To make sure you enter in the HTML code correctly, just copy and paste the code sample above into the program and make the necessary changes for your site and image.
