Preventing site visitor from changing font size

Hi Sam!

If I use my browser to substantially enlarge the font size while viewing the published web-site (in Mozilla Ctrl + "+" key), this may screw up the design (e.g., the navigation links string in the "top" section becomes too long and slides onto the second line.

Is there a way to prevent the visitor from changing the font size?

Thank you!

RE: Preventing site visitor from changing font size

Not really,

Once the page is downloaded to the visitor's computer, the browser controls the display of the page. Since most fonts are True Type scalable fonts, the browser can resize them. There may be special JavaScripts available for free on the Internet for turning off the browser's font size control, but this is something you should consider as a last resort.
